We are a close-knit team of 4 veterinarians and 17 support staff, including experienced nurses, animal care attendants, and administrative professionals. Our team brings a diverse mix of skills, creating a supportive and collaborative clinic environment. The Role We’re seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join our friendly team at Vet Marlborough in beautiful Blenheim, in the Marlborough Sounds. This role offers flexibility, whether you’re looking to join as a locum from the end of the year or a long-term opportunity. There is also potential to step into a Lead Veterinarian role within 12-18 months. The Work You’ll enjoy a varied mixed caseload with strong clinical support, including: Offering consults, diagnostics, surgery and farm advice for our farming community. Working collaboratively within our team of experienced veterinarians, rural business manager & administrator. Large animal work: routine care, emergencies, disease investigations, and pregnancy testing. On-site diagnostics with the opportunity to have same-day results using our Idexx Minilab. Companion animal care across consults, surgery, and preventative health. About You Minimum 2 years’ experience in large animal practice Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-focused approach What We Offer Relocation/ sign-on bonus - up to $10k!
