About the Role We are seeking a passionate and motivated Cardiology Fellowwith a strong interest in Cardiac Electrophysiology to join our renownedCardiology Department at Christchurch Hospital. This fellowship provides an exceptional opportunity todevelop advanced knowledge and practical skills in the diagnosis and managementof cardiac arrhythmias within a busy tertiary referral centre. Workingalongside highly experienced Electrophysiologists, you will gain extensiveexposure to contemporary electrophysiology practice while contributing to thedelivery of high-quality patient care. Your fellowship will include participation in: Pacemakerand implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantation Cardiacdevice follow-up and management Multidisciplinaryclinical meetings and teaching Outpatientclinics and inpatient consultative services This role offers outstanding clinical training within asupportive environment that encourages professional development, research andteaching opportunities. About You To be successful in this role you will have: Amedical qualification recognised for registration with the Medical Councilof New Zealand (MCNZ), or eligibility to obtain registration. Completedadvanced physician training in Cardiology (or equivalent). Ademonstrated interest in Cardiac Electrophysiology and a strong commitmentto pursuing subspecialty training. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to workcollaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Acommitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
