Graduate Building Surveyor

We’re an RICS-regulated firm, and we’re on the hunt for two Graduate Building Surveyors based in our Auckland team who are ready to jump in and make an impact. This is a full-time permanent role, 40 hours/week, $67,000 to 72,000 per annum. What You’ll Do No two days will be the same. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you’ll get stuck into: Hands-on building surveys, inspections, and defect diagnostics. Writing clear, professional reports that make a difference. Supporting senior surveyors with contract administration and on-site monitoring. Assist in specification and design of remedial and refurbishment projects on some of Auckland’s most iconic buildings. Working alongside authorities to understand how statutory approvals happen in practice. Getting involved in asset and building maintenance management. Contributing to proposals and tenders that bring new opportunities to the team. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and remediation specialists on real-world projects. What We’re Looking For We’re not expecting you to know everything – we’ll teach you. What we do want is: Atleast a diploma in Building Surveying or higher Enthusiasm to grow your skills and work towards RICS or NZIBS membership (we’ll back you all the way). Curiosity to learn about New Zealand Building Codes, Standards & practices. Great communication skills – verbal and written.
