Housekeeper

Location: Northridge Golf Resort, Wainui, Auckland Employment type: Casual Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor / Operations Manager About Northridge Northridge Golf Resort is a peaceful destination venue offering 27 guest rooms, a nine-hole golf course, restaurant, café, weddings, conferences and private functions. We are looking for reliable housekeepers who take pride in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms to Northridge standards. Make beds and replace linen and towels. Clean bathrooms, kitchens and other room facilities. Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise surfaces. Replenish toiletries, tea, coffee and guest supplies. Check rooms for damage, maintenance issues and lost property. Clean shared areas, conference rooms and public facilities when required. Manage linen, cleaning supplies and housekeeping equipment carefully. Follow health and safety, hygiene and chemical-handling procedures. Report maintenance concerns, guest requests and unusual issues promptly. Work with reception, operations and other team members to ensure rooms are ready on time. Assist with deep cleaning and other general duties when required. What We Are Looking For Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. Friendly, respectful and professional manner. Good time management and ability to meet room turnaround deadlines. Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including lifting linen and moving equipment. Available to work mornings, weekends and public holidays as required. Reliable transport is important due to our Wainui location. The right to work legally in New Zealand. Performance Expectations Guest rooms are consistently clean, complete and ready by the required check-in time. Cleaning checklists and quality standards are followed. Maintenance issues, damage and lost property are reported correctly. Cleaning products and guest supplies are used responsibly. Positive teamwork and professional conduct are maintained at all times.
