Occupational Therapist (1.0 FTE)

Occupational Therapist, Nelson Hospital, Permanent This role is for a therapist with experience to work as part of the multidisciplinary team at Nelson Hospital. You will work directly alongside another skilled Occupational therapists and Occupational Therapy Allied Health Assistants which you will support and share your experience with. About the Role As an Occupational Therapist in our close-knit team, you will provide tailored assessment , intervention and rehabilitation services and support patients through their healthcare journey. You'll help patients maximise their functional independence. This role is based in Nelson Hospital and is a permanent role, working up to 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00AM to 5:00PM. On-call is not required at this time, however you may be required to work weekend shifts to cover leave. Be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs, Have a genuine passion for working with patients in the hospital on their health journey, Effective time management and organisational skills, Work autonomously, collaboratively, and develop positive interpersonal relationships, Have a full clean drivers licence.
