Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 12/10/2026, End Date: 15/12/2026 (Maternity Leave) Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts One of our amazing kaiako is taking up an exciting opportunity overseas so we are seeking a passionate, creative and enthusiastic teacher to join our junior, Te Puna, team in Term 4, 2026. We are looking for a teacher who: has experience teaching in Years 1 to 3 and flourishes when working in partnership with whānau is committed to teaching to the North East and culturally-responsive pedagogy understands the science of learning: experience in teaching using structured scope and sequences is advantageous (BSLA and Maths No Problem) creates engaging, inclusive learning environments where every learner can thrive builds positive, respectful relationships with learners, whānau and colleagues will show commitment to our school's vision – Connected in Community, Nurtured with Care, Empowered to Flourish – and our AWHI attributes.
