HR Connect – Manawatu District, North Island Guaranteed 40 hours per week - consistent, reliable income (not casual or weather-dependent) Fully paid private health insurance Full PPE provided About the position We are looking for an experienced, safety-focused Operator/Driver to join our team and help deliver high-quality results across our projects. Our maintenance crews work throughout the rural King Country, operating trucks and construction plant, carrying out general labouring duties, and assisting with traffic control when required. We work in small teams that enjoy the variety of work involved in road maintenance and construction. Key Responsibilities will include: Transporting aggregate, plant & equipment Operating machinery (including in confined spaces and around live traffic) Checking and maintaining vehicles and equipment Supporting the crew with general labouring duties when required To be successful in this position, you will have: Full Class 1–5 licences with WTR endorsement (essential) Experience operating heavy machinery in civil construction Strong understanding of safe work practices Ability to identify and manage risks proactively In addition, you will lead by example, promote best-practice Health & Safety, and contribute to a strong safety culture on every job.
