Clinical Lead for Primary Care Practice

About Us We’re a family-owned GP clinic caring for a community of ~4,000 patients. Our team includes 4 doctors, an extended care paramedic, 4 nurses, an HCA, Health Coach, and a supportive admin team. We’re passionate about practical, patient centred care. We're at the start of two new projects that you will be able to jump right into - a community outreach programme to support long term conditions care, and improving outcomes for diabetics using CGM technology. About You You have proven experience in clinical leadership within primary care and are comfortable supporting and guiding a multidisciplinary team. You bring a practical leadership style, are confident having difficult conversations when needed, and look for ways to improve how things work — without overcomplicating them. You care about equitable access and outcomes, particularly for patients who don’t find it easy to engage with healthcare. Clinical policy and Foundation standard/CQI experience would be an advantage. The Role This is a new role with the opportunity to shape how it works in practice. You’ll work closely with the Practice Manager and Nurse Lead to manage the clinical team. This includes: Mentoring staff and supporting day-to-day clinical coordination Improving systems and workflows to make things run more smoothly Supporting service delivery and achieving key performance targets Assisting with clinical complaints and oversight of ACC/insurance processes Hands on 'floor time' to cover sickness and annual leave The role will start at 2–3 days per week, with scope to grow over the next 12 months.
