About the Role We are looking for a flexible and committed Registered Nurse to join our Childrens Ward. Perfect for those who thrive in a team environment and enjoy the diversity and meaning that comes with paediatric nursing. Our unit is a fulfilling and unique place to work, offering 22-beds and delivering family-centred care for infants, children, and adolescents aged 0-15 years. We provide services in General Medicine, Oncology, Palliative Care, Orthopaedics, ENT, Urology, mental health and General Surgery, with additional nursing opportunities in our Child Assessment Unit (CAU) and Childrens Day Stay Unit. As a paediatric nurse, you will play a vital role in caring for young patients and supporting their whānau, taking into account each child’s emotional, social, and cultural needs. About the Team/Service/Location Based in the stunning Bay of Plenty, our Childrens Ward is home to a skilled and supportive team of nurses committed to quality outcomes for tamariki and thier whānau. We work closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide care that is holistic, culturally responsive, and grounded in the values of compassion, professionalism, and teamwork.
