Mechanical Fitter/Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Engineer to join Dynaflow ENZED– Wellington’s Trusted Experts in Hydraulic Engineering. In this temp-to-permanent role, you’ll be responsible for hydraulic maintenance, repairs, and installations across a diverse range of clients. This is a hands‑on position offering variety, skill development, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team. What You’ll Be Doing Fitting: disassembly, repairs, and reassembly Machining and turning mechanical components Welding (MIG, TIG, Arc) Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings Diagnostics, servicing, overhauls, and installations Hose and fitting assembly (workshop and field service) Ensuring all work meets Dynaflow’s quality standards What We’re Looking For Experience as a Fitter/Turner, Welder, Diesel Mechanic, or similar Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical know-how MIG, TIG, and Arc welding experience or qualifications preferred. A good sense of humour — we like to enjoy what we do!
