About the Role As a Grower Services Representative, you’ll be the key point of contact between EastPack and our kiwifruit growers, managing relationships, providing expert support, and ensuring a high level of service to excite and delight our customers. You’ll play a vital part in helping growers succeed, while identifying opportunities to attract new customers to our client base. This role offers great variety, and no two days are the same. Key responsibilities include: Providing a high level of customer service to a portfolio of growers, effectively managing call cycles, seeking opportunities to add value to customers, scheduling meetings and offering valuable insights using dated-based reports. Identifying, escalating and resolving situations which could create risk to supply. Managing and administering activity to meet acquisition and retention targets. Executing a highly disciplined harvest operation by maximising kiwistart volume with effective testing strategies and mainpack fruit volume harvested at optimum maturity. Developing strong relationships with regional influencers and key accounts. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced relationship manager with strong technical, communication and interpersonal skills. To be successful as the ideal candidate you’ll bring: Proven experience in account management or sales. Technical knowledge and understanding of the kiwifruit or wider horticulture industry would be a definite advantage, but not necessarily essential if you tick all the other boxes. Computer skills and a reasonable level of technology savvyare a must. Excellent communication, customer service and relationship management skills to confidently and effectively engage with a wide range of people, including internal external stakeholders and enjoy working as part of a team. Strong problem solving and time management skills, bringing a positive, solutions-focused attitude to everything you do and the ability to make sound decisions even under pressure and maintain professionalism. Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to perform well under pressure and work variable hours at times, including weekends during peak season. A full New Zealand driver’s license is required, and applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
