Job Description

The Installation Manager ensures an excellent customer experience during the installation phase of the flooring project. We are looking for someone very organised to maximise the installation team and make the customer service experience seamless from the transition of the sales team. This role will also require management of the warehouse so experience in stock handling practices would be beneficial as would a current forklift license. You will have excellent communication skills as you will deal with many types of clients both internal and external. Project Management experience and knowledge of the construction industry and previous working understanding of construction plans preferred. We are looking for an organised fit person to keep the warehouse in order and make sure stock is easily locatable and available when required. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that the warehouse is a safe, clean and tidy environment with relevant signage displayed. Ensure that customers are contacted with call/text to confirm installation date and talk through preinstall checklist. Any delays are to be communicated to customer with updates accordingly. Prepare job sheets for installation team prior to installation date. Keep installation schedule up to date by following procedures to update for billing purposes Ensure installers are loaded in an efficient & timely manner. Day to day management of installers, ensuring they are being on time and checking timesheets Receipt incoming & outward stock, tagging, allocation to racking, etc Order materials to an acceptable level Take care of any damaged products with relevant paperwork Assist with stock control to ensure levels of stock are correct Heavy lifting and movement of carpet and other stock in warehouse Be aware of and comply with OSH and company health and safety requirements Maintain plant and machinery ensuring all equipment is tagged and tested and complies with health and safety legislation #J-18808-Ljbffr
