About the Role You will work within the General Surgery ward providing support and assistance to the multi-disciplinary team caring for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures pre and post operatively. This includes step down HDU/ICU and trauma patients. The successful applicant will be flexible, with good prioritisation and time management skills. Key responsibilities: Attend to patient needs with compassion and diligence Assist Registered Nurses with delegated tasks Ensure smooth patient flow Maintain a clean environment for both patients and staff Support the nursing team About the Team/Service The Waikato Surgical Department is a leading tertiary care facility serving patients throughout the Midlands region.
