Life Plus is seeking exceptional New Zealand Registered Nurses with a current APC to join a specialist team supporting one remarkable young person with highly complex neurological and physical disabilities. This is unlike traditional nursing. Rather than caring for multiple patients each shift, you’ll become part of a consistent, highly skilled two-person team, delivering one-to-one care that enables our client to live safely, comfortably and with dignity in their own home. About the Role Working alongside an experienced Level 4 Support Worker, you’ll deliver specialist nursing care within a fully supported 24/7 service. This role is based on Waiheke Island. You’ll work closely with the client’s family, medical specialists and multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses interested in paediatrics, disability, neurology, rehabilitation or community nursing. About Our Client Our client is a young person living with severe dyskinetic cerebral palsy following a neonatal stroke. Despite these challenges, he continues to make cognitive progress and benefits enormously from a skilled, compassionate and consistent team. Comprehensive clinical protocols and specialist management plans are already established. About You Current NZ Registered Nurse APC Ideally experience in paediatrics, disability, rehabilitation, neurology or community nursing Excellent assessment and clinical judgement Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional attention to detail Strong clinical documentation skills Compassion, empathy and patience Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Be available for external intensive training Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 24/7 service Why Join Life Plus We invest heavily in our people.
