Men's Services Accommodation Support Kaimaihi Christchurch City Mission – Christchurch, South Island Men's Night Shelter - Support Worker Join Christchurch City Mission (Te Whare Mīhana Ki Ōtautahi) and help support people experiencing homelessness, hardship, and life challenges. Every day you’ll make a real impact in our community. About the Role Permanent 40 hours per week, Friday to Tuesday, 4.30pm-12.30am. You’ll be part of a supportive, integrated residential team providing practical support, coping strategies, and medication management for residents in our Night shelter. Our trained Support Workers work closely with clinical staff to deliver 24/7 care that meets the individual needs of men. What You’ll Bring Experience working in social services and/or related qualification preferred Experience working with people who are homeless or at risk Strong communication and relationship skills Competent in IT systems including Microsoft Office Understanding of social justice, Te Tiriti, and relevant legislation Alignment with our Christian-based, values-led environment What We Offer A meaningful role where no two days are the same $28.95 to 31.30 per hour We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
