About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for experienced MIT to join our Imaging department service at Wairarapa Hospital, we offer a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, CT Scanning. These are casual positions working 0 - 80 hours per fortnight, as and when required. Applicants must be available at short notice, including weekends and evenings at times to cover on‑call roster. To be eligable to apply for these positions you must be a New Zealand citizen or have a resident or permanent visa status. Your responsibilities will include working in all general areas of the department including, general Radiology, CT and Fluoroscopy and performing examinations in special care areas such as HDU, Theatre, Emergency and general wards. About you The ideal candidate will have: Registered or eligible for registration by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board. Experience in CT preferable however applications will also be accepted from individuals willing to train in CT. Sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography and well‑developed communication skills and empathy, with the passion to deliver high‑quality healthcare. Registered or eligible for registration by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board. Experience in CT or willingness to learn CT. Must be able to work alone, with others and under pressure.
