Position Details Role Type: Full-time, permanent Position: Nail Technician Location of the job: Tauranga The minimum guaranteed hours of work per week: 30 hours The maximum hours of work per week: 45 hours The minimum and maximum rate of pay or salary: $28-$35 per hour (depending on skills and experience) Job Description Analysing nail characteristics and advising on suitable body treatments to clients Discussing client needs and performing manicures (buff, shape, and polish clients' nails) and spa pedicure (treat clients' feet and toenails) Applying acrylic nails, gel nail, silk nail, fiber glass nail, UV gel, nail extension, nail repair, and other specialized hand and foot treatments Dipping powder on clients’ real nails and dipping powder with tip (extension) Decorating and designing on clients’ nails (nail art) Referring clients to health professionals regarding nails diseases and problems Massaging clients' hands and feet Providing advice on beauty care and relevant treatments and product selling Communicating to reach clients’ needs, ensure clients’ satisfactions The minimum qualification and work experience requirements At least one year of relevant work experience OR Level 4 or higher qualification in nail technology or beauty therepy or related fields. Other requirements Hardworking, reliable, and punctual. Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. Good health and no skin allergies. Excellent hygiene and neat personal appearance.
