Talking Cure is a specialist counselling and psychology service providing predominantly trauma-focused therapy through the ACC Sensitive Claims service, alongside services for private clients. We are growing rapidly and need an experienced financial operations officer who can strengthen our financial systems, contribute to informed decision-making and remain flexible as our services and operational needs continue to develop. About the role You will oversee and coordinate financial operations across our ACC-funded services and private client work. This is a varied role combining transactional financial administration with reporting, forecasting, compliance and systems improvement. You will work closely with the group practice manager, directors, lead providers, allied health, client service administrators, clinicians, ACC administrators and our external accountant. You will need to be comfortable: Adapting to changing priorities Moving between detailed financial processing and higher-level reporting Supporting new services, providers and operational arrangements Working with systems and processes that are continuing to mature Identifying gaps and recommending practical improvements Taking initiative and working independently Contributing to broader team priorities when required Communicating early when risks, delays or anomalies arise. You will help ensure Talking Cure maintains accurate financial administration, strong ACC compliance and efficient operational processes as service demand continues to grow.
