About the role Our Day Surgery Unit is a one-stop shop, providing surgery to patients of all ages from a wide range of surgical specialties ranging from; ENT, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Plastics, Urology and Paediatrics. Care for patient's right across the continuum of care from preadmissions through to discharge. DSU also accommodates patients admitted for a variety of non-theatre procedures. Monday to Friday Day 8 hour shifts between 7am-7pm Shifting to state of the art Day Procedure Unit within the new Outpatients building begining in October. About you Post operative surgical experience a must Registered Nurse with APC Recent and relevant experience within a NZ clinical setting A requirement to be involved in the termination of pregnancy service.
