Wellington, you'llprovide friendly, knowledgeable service that helps customers find the rightproducts and solutions for their projects. You'll contribute to the success ofthe department by delivering an outstanding customer experience, maintainingexcellent merchandising standards, and ensuring stock is available and wellpresented at all times. KeyResponsibilities: Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and providehelpful product advice and solutions. Assist customers in locating products and refer more technicalenquiries to the appropriate team member when required. Maintain high merchandising standards, including ticketing,shelf presentation, facing, and promotional displays. Replenish stock throughout the day and ensure shelves remainfull, tidy, and easy to shop. Use in-store devices and systems to check product availability,locations, and suitable alternatives. Assist with price changes, markdowns, and stock maintenancetasks. Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the HardwareDepartment is clean, safe, and well organised. Flexibility to work across departments when needed Skills& Knowledge: Basic computer skills, including using handheld devices forstock lookups, sales processing, and online learning. Understanding of merchandising principles, including ticketing,planograms, and display standards. A willingness to develop product knowledge across the Hardwarerange. An awareness of the Consumer Guarantees Act, Fair Trading Act,and store refund and exchange procedures. Availability: Applicants must be available to work bothSaturday and Sunday at Mitre 10 Mega Mt.
