Maintenance Assistant

Elizabeth Knox Home and Hospital – Epsom, North Island Join our team at Elizabeth Knox Home & Hospital as a Maintenance Assistant and play a key role in keeping our facility safe, clean, and welcoming. What You'll Do Support room and building refurbishment, painting, and general upkeep. Perform repairs and coordinator contractors for equipment maintenance. Assist the Maintenance Officer with daily tasks, including rubbish and medical waste collection, newspaper delivery, and stock servicing. Help manage stock, stores, and maintenance equipment efficiently. Cover on-call duties and support for the team as required. What We're Looking For Hands-on, practical approach to maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Good communication, flexibility, and problem-solving skills. Respectful team player who goes the extra mile to support colleagues.
