About the Role Join the Whangarei Hospitals busy Medical Outpatients Department on part time position. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of medical specialties. As a Registered Nurse in the outpatient setting, you will coordinate and deliver nursing care, support specialist clinics, undertake patient assessments, provide education, and contribute to positive patient outcomes while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care within outpatient clinics. Conduct patient assessments, documentation, and care planning. Support medical specialists during outpatient consultations and procedures. Deliver patient and whānau education to promote self-management and wellbeing. Coordinate care and referrals with internal and external healthcare providers. We have a large team of local specialists (doctors, nurses and physiologists) but also host a range of visiting specialists.
