We're searching for a motivated and experienced Site Foreman to take charge of a high energy recycling operation in the Waikato. What you'll be doing You'll lead day to day site operations, keeping everything running safely, smoothly and efficiently. From coordinating your team, leading toolbox morning meetings to improving processes and boosting recycled output, you'll play a crucial role in driving site performance. This is a self-on role where you'll be out on site, staying active, supporting your team and stepping into machinery when needed. You'll bring energy, leadership, and a strong focus on health and safety. You'll be stepping into a key leadership role with a hardworking, down to earth team that takes pride in what they do while having a good laugh along the way. About you You're an experienced leader who knows how to build strong relationships and create a positive team culture. You communicate clearly, lead by example and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump on the tools when required. With a solid background in operations, whether in recycling, quarrying or demolition, you understand what it takes to keep things running at their best. Must haves At least 5+ years' experience as a Site Foreman in a relevant industry Experience leading teams of up to 6 people Strong operational knowledge across manufacturing, quarrying, or recycling Experience operating rollers, excavators and loaders and able to move a big rig when needed Strong leadership skills with the ability to get the best out of your team A track record of improving systems and processes Physically fit and comfortable working on-site Great communication skills and a good sense of humour Clean NZ Driver Licence and MOJ and Class 2 or Class 4 NZ Citizen or NZ Permanent Resident Be part of the team who are driving sustainability and recycling forward and to Shelby Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
