New Age Commissioning Ltd is seeking experienced Mining Process Plant Operations People to join our team on a contract basis . This is an exciting opportunity to work in the mining processing sector, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our process plant facilities. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining optimal plant performance, troubleshooting operational challenges, and contributing to our commitment to operational excellence and safety standards. Key responsibilities Operate and monitor process plant equipment and systems in accordance with established operating procedures and safety protocols Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks of plant machinery and infrastructure to identify potential issues before they **escalate** Record and monitor operational data, including plant performance metrics, production rates and quality parameters Respond promptly to plant alarms and anomalies, implementing corrective actions to maintain continuous operations Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment failures and support repair and replacement activities Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to mining process operations Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and other team members to maintain operational continuity and coordinate shift handovers Assist with process optimisation initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement programmes What we’re looking for Proven experience in mining process plant operations or similar industrial processing environments Strong understanding of mineral processing principles, equipment operation and process control systems Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, operational manuals and plant schematics Excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to monitoring plant performance and identifying anomalies Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements specific to mining operations Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in shift-based environments Physical capability to perform duties in an industrial mining environment, including standing for extended periods and working at heights where required Relevant qualifications or certifications in process plant operations, plant operator licensing, or mining safety (preferred) Problem-solving mindset with the ability to respond calmly and effectively to operational challenges What we offer Working with New Age Commissioning Ltd offers the opportunity to be part of a professional team committed to operational excellence in the mining and resources sector.
