What You’ll Be Doing As the Christchurch-based Desktop Support Analyst, you’ll deliver Level 2 support while working across desktop, server and infrastructure technologies in a varied, hands‑on role. Your responsibilities will include: Providing Level 2 desktop and application support for end users. Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals and software issues. Installing, configuring and deploying software, operating system updates and security patches. Supporting Windows server environments and assisting with infrastructure maintenance. Working alongside server, network and infrastructure teams to resolve more complex technical issues. Managing incidents and service requests while delivering excellent customer service. Contributing to IT projects, including after-hours infrastructure upgrades and office technology rollouts. Travelling to other offices throughout New Zealand to provide onsite support when required. About You You’ll enjoy solving technical problems just as much as helping people. To be successful, you’ll bring: 3+ years’ experience in a Desktop Support, Desktop Analyst or Level 2 Support role. Strong Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 experience. Experience supporting Microsoft server environments. Solid hardware troubleshooting skills, including imaging and device configuration. A basic understanding of networking, including switches. Experience supporting Dell hardware and Apple devices is advantageous A friendly, approachable communication style with the confidence to support users at all levels. A willingness to travel regularly throughout New Zealand and work after hours and wekeends when required.
