Environmental Consultant/Engineer - Contaminated Land

We have an opportunity for an Environmental Consultant/Engineer to assist our team with the delivery and management of contaminated land projects nationally. About The Role As an Environmental Consultant with us, you will join a dynamic multidisciplinary team; identifying potential contaminants and their source for land development projects. Undertaking site testing, historical reviews, soil and groundwater analysis and reporting. You will be working collaboratively with our geotechnical, civil, and structural engineers to identify environmental solutions that can be incorporated in the overall design of our projects. About You Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geology / Geoscience, Civil Engineering or similar 2 - 6 years+ industry experience in similar role Demonstrated experience working across contaminated land projects High level of attention to detail with excellent planning, technical reporting and sound problem-solving skills, you will take pride in producing quality work Experience in working alongside geotechnical and/or civil engineering preferred but not essential Be practically minded and have experience of construction practices and working closely with contractors Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and communicating with a wide range of people About Us Kirk Roberts Consulting is a multi-disciplinary company providing Structural, Geotechnical, Fire, Civil, and Environmental Engineering Services, plus Architecture and Engineering Software to a range of clients across New Zealand, from our offices in Christchurch, Queenstown, Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga.
