Registered Nurse Murchison Hospital perm 0.7FTE Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Nelson Marlborough – Murchison, South Island Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse at Murchison AgedResidential Care Hospital and Health Centre Post-registration experience in an acute or primaryhealth care setting is preferred Does working in a rural community and enjoying thegreat outdoors appeal to you? About theRole The Murchison Community Hospital and HealthCentre provides an integrated service of Primary Health, In Patient andPRIME care. The Health Centre has 5 day a week GP or Nurse Practitioner clinicsalongside daily Registered Nurse clinics. The Hospital has 6 aged care beds and2 flexible beds. The flexible beds allow for assessment and observation,respite, palliative and rehabilitation care. Shifts arerostered and rotating across AM: 0700-1530 ,PM: 1430-2300 , and Night 2245-0715 shifts. About theTeam/Service/ Location Murchison isa rural service town, with a permanent population of approximately 1100,located halfway between Nelson and Westport (1.5 hours travel in eitherdirection). During the summer Murchison becomes a destination for holidaymakers seeking the great outdoors. Activities on offer include great fishing,rafting, walking, white water kayaking, jet boating and mountain biking.
