You can find out more about us here:https://www.nisbets.co.nz/ THE ROLE The Transactional Officer is a driven and enthusiastic individual who is focused on accurate and efficient data entry whilst ensuring a high level of services is consistently provided to both internal and external stakeholders. They will work within a team to support the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable and Credit Control New Zealand functions, maintaining ledger accuracy and integrity. The key focus areas of the role include: Review and process stock and overheads supplier invoices ensuring compliance with IRD legislation and company requirements. Review and process employee expense claims ensuring documentation is complete and expenses are in compliance with company expense policy. Review and record credit card expense claims ensuring documentation is complete and expenses are in compliance withcompany credit card policy. Complete supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly basis. Investigate and follow up stock and overhead invoice discrepancies. Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies. Assist with month-end closing. Actively follow up customers with overdue accounts Review customer accounts and release orders following company policies WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Experience working in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (exposure to stock/inventory desirable). Previous experience working with an Australian based HO would be advantageous. Negotiation Skills. Ability to process high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately. Computer literate with proficiency in Excel (intermediate), Word and Outlook. Enjoy providing excellent customer experience to both internal and external stakeholders. Enjoy working as part of a team. Ability to meet deadlines. Excellent planning & organisation skills and high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
