Service Manager

About the role As Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the workshopand front-line service team. You will play a key role in ensuring the department runs efficiently, customers are well looked after, and the team is supported to achieve strong results. You will be responsible for: leading, supporting and developing a great service team; overseeing workshop productivity, efficiency and workflow; driving strong customer service and communication standards; managing service department performance, including sales, GP, CSI and operational targets; supporting Service Advisors, Technicians and workshop leadership; ensuring manufacturer standards, warranty processes and compliance requirements are met; identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer experience and department performance; creating a positive, accountable and team-focused environment. About you We are looking for someone with the experience, confidence and passion to lead a great team tosuccess. You will ideally have: proven experience as a Service Manager in the automotive industry; strong workshop and service department knowledge; experience in a franchise dealership environment; excellent people leadership skills; a practical, solutions-focused approach; confidence managing performance, workflow and department results; the ability to build trust and bring people with you; a calm, professional approach in a busy environment.
