Delivery Driver/Storeman

Our client is a well-known family-owned food distribution business searching for a Storeman/Delivery Driver to join their friendly team. About the role You will deliver crates of food items to cafes, restaurants, and retirement villages around Christchurch. This position is face-to-face with a variety of customers so being well-presented & friendly is a must. Key Responsibilities Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks General warehouse duties, including picking and packing Freezer work as required Local deliveries around Christchurch Supporting day‑to‑day warehouse operations as needed The position is Monday-Fridayworking between the hours of 5am-3pm + every second or third Saturdayas required. The starting pay rate for this position is: $26.00p/h + 8% Holiday Pay. The Successful Candidate will: Have a Full Class 1 clean licenceand be able to drive a manual vehicle Current forklift licence with proven experience (OSH) - preferred but not essential Physically fit, with the ability to handle regular manual lifting Strong multitasking ability and comfort moving between warehouse, forklift, and driving duties Have good knowledge of the Christchurch area Be trustworthy and have great customer service Please note that a pre-employment drug screen and Ministry of Justice check are part of our recruitment process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
