SPECIALIST CENTRE MANAGER - CREST HOSPITAL

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Specialist Centre Manager at Crest Hospital. Are you a dynamic healthcare leader with a passion for operational excellence, business growth, and high-quality patient care? We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Specialist Centre, home to a team of highly skilled medical specialist across multiple disciplines. This is a permanent full-time position. The purpose of this role is to oversee the entire operation, ensuring seamless day-to-day management while driving strategic growth utilising your excellent relationship building and networking skills. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, optimise processes, manage financial performance, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equitable healthcare delivery is essential. This position is part of the Senior Leadership Team and will actively support the CEO and the team to achieve the strategic goals of Crest Hospital. To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience: Proven leadership experience and ability in operational management within a healthcare environment. At least two years progressive leadership experience and a track record of energising teams and their performance. Experience and success in developing and nurturing an accountable, caring, safe and highly performing culture across a team. Demonstrated experience contributing to and driving strategic direction. Proven capability to develop meaningful relationships with visiting medical officers, developing both their future growth as well as that of Crest Hospital. Process improvement experience. Commitment to ongoing professional development. High level of organisational skills and ability to prioritise work. Ability to drive creative ideas through the organisation.
