We are currently looking for an MRI Team leader to join our friendly and supportive radiology department at Taranaki Base Hospital. In this role, youll lead a skilled MRI team within our Radiology Department and participate in our oncall roster, which includes weekends, shifts, and call duties. Please click here to view the position description About the Team/Service/ Location We are excited to announce that we have recently moved into our new building where we have a Siemens Sola and a Siemens Altea. Our facilities in New Plymouth include advanced imaging technologies such as general x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional radiography, fluoroscopy and more. With satellite sites in Hawera, Stratford, and Waitara, you will have the chance to work alongside a team of around 60 staff members, supported by experienced Radiologists. This position will commence as soon as possible. For more information on living and working in Taranaki click here About you To be successful in this role you will be required to have/be: - NZ registration and a current annual practising certificate Excellent technical skills and knowledge Well-developed communication, critical thinking skills and a commitment to family centred care Capable of working independently and within a small team A strong commitment to quality healthcare Versatile and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment Able to work well within a close team and be willing to take part in training students.You must be happy to work with trainees and aid in their education and progression to being fully qualified. The successful applicant must be highly organised with a strong focus on patient care.
