Our work ranges from reactive insurance repairs and planned maintenance programmes through to kitchen and bathroom renovations, commercial fit-outs, structural repairs, window and door replacements, and complete property improvements. One day you could be repairing storm damage for an insurer, the next replacing timber joinery, carrying out commercial maintenance, installing a new kitchen or completing a bathroom renovation. About the Role This is a hands‑on role for an experienced tradesperson who enjoys working across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects. Our work is fast-paced and service-driven. You'll often move between multiple projects throughout the week, so being organised, adaptable and able to manage changing priorities is essential. You'll be trusted to manage your work professionally, communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and consistently deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a professional standard. Typical work includes: Reactive building maintenance Insurance reinstatement repairs Planned maintenance programmes Residential renovations and alterations Kitchen and bathroom installations Commercial fit-outs and maintenance Window and door replacements Timber framing and general carpentry Joinery installation and repairs Decking, fencing and exterior improvements Minor plastering, painting and finishing work General building repairs and property improvements About You Technical ability is important, but attitude, professionalism and accountability are what make someone successful at Stellar Property Solutions. Skills & Experience To be successful in this role you'll ideally have: A New Zealand Building qualification or significant practical carpentry experience. At least three years' experience in maintenance carpentry, renovations, alterations or commercial building. Strong all‑round carpentry skills and practical trade knowledge. The ability to work independently and confidently manage jobs on site. Experience using mobile technology for job management and communication. A full New Zealand driver's licence. New Zealand residency or a valid work visa. Experience in insurance reinstatement, property maintenance or commercial maintenance will be highly regarded. Why Join Stellar Property Solutions?
