We work closely with New Zealand retail chains, food service and independent outlets to provide top quality produce, both domestically-grown and imported - Including leading global brands Dole and Sunkist. We are looking for a Banana Storeperson to assist usinour fresh produce distribution warehouse in Christchurch. The roles require you to be physically fit, energetic and driven. The position involves all aspects of consolidating orders to meet delivery timetables for our retail and independent partners. Key tasks and responsibilities are: Receipting product, checking and booking in product Picking products for orders Stock Management Forklift operation skills (training can be provided) Customer Service Internal Communications Quality Control The role requires applicants to have / be: Initiative Ability to work as part of a team Friendly positive attitude Health and Safety awareness Physically fit Hard working and reliable Full NZ driverslicence Forklift licence with F Endorsement (preferred) The Hours Tuesday to Saturday 4:00am - 1:00pm Please note there will be flexibility required around days and times of shifts in order to accommodate Banana vessel arrivals.
