Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic

We also have a sister company carrying out COF inspections, adding further depth to our services This is a hands-on role with 2 vacancies primarily focused on truck and trailer fleet maintenance and repairs along with buses and light commercial vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Scheduled servicing of heavy and commercial vehicles Repairs to braking and steering systems Overhaul, rebuild, and repair of modern diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains COF/VCA preparation Diagnostic fault finding General industry-related mechanical tasks Maintaining a clean and safe workplace What We Offer Competitive hourly rate: $35 – $45 (based on experience and skill) Guaranteed minimum 40-hour work week Full management support Varied and interesting workload Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company Full PPE provided Safe parking within our facility Support with visa transfers (Accredited Employer) What We’re Looking For Qualified Diesel Technician (Level 4 or equivalent), OR Minimum 5 years’ experience in the automotive/heavy vehicle industry Minimum Class 2 clean driver’s licence (willing to progress to Class 4/5) Ability to work independently Strong commitment to safety Own well-equipped toolbox Good written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work a rostered half-day Saturday Be willing to work as a team If you’re looking for a stable, supportive workplace where your skills are valued and your future matters, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
