About the role We are currently seeking someone to fill the role of a Cut-Flower Nursery Worker . This role is a full-time position working each week, from Monday to Friday, and rostered weekend work. You will work on the cut-flower processing team, ensuring that all products are processed efficiently. The position requires quality control, organising workflow, allocating stock, and communication with other department leaders. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, self-motivated, and adaptable team player who loves flowers! Main responsibilities, tasks, and duties Harvest and process flowers on a daily basis while overseeing the quality. Assist with organising the work flow and communicating with the Crop Manager and the Dispatch Manager. Assist with setting up and docketing auction trolleys. Assist with weekend picking when required as per the staff roster. Preference will be given to candidates who can display the following skills and attributes A resourceful team player with a can-do attitude. Have strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Computer savvy, good with Microsoft Excel. High attention to detail and accuracy, along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Please note that this position predominantly requires working in cool conditions in the cooler (temperatures of about 12°C), it also requires working in high temperatures during the summer months inside the glasshouses.
