EXCITING NEW GENERAL MANAGEMENT OPPORTUNITY

The K’aute Pasifika Trust is a well-known Hamilton based community-oriented organisation that is focused on supporting individuals and their families make meaningful changes to enhance their health and well-being. It is currently working through a transition period to deliver its services in new and different ways, through a new multi-disciplinary and multi team approach. The new delivery model is strategically anchored and strongly outcome oriented, and is focused on the organisation having a more integrated approach internally, and also working collaboratively with complementary external delivery partners. This new role has been created to lead the transformation of the way services are delivered, by working with the existing skilled team, and with targeted potential external partners. It will require well developed relationship, engagement and communication skills, along with proven experience in leading successful changes in team culture and performance. In addition to leading service delivery, you will also carry the additional accountability of being the Deputy Chief Executive, so that you will work alongside and support the Chief Executive (CE) in enhancing the overall organisation’s development, building partnerships locally, regionally and nationally to enhance its impact and influence, and identifying and/or securing alternative revenue/funding streams. You will need to have demonstrated that you have these skills, experience and capabilities. To be considered for this role, you must be a proven senior executive leader who has worked in a health or social services environment, someone who has been responsible for ensuring that services are delivered which consistently meet funding standards and/or community needs. You must be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of Pasifika people, and their cultures and values, and can balance this empathy with having strong financial and commercial acumen and skills. It is essential that you are a strategically oriented thinker and leader, someone who has shown that they can also build and grow a high performing and focused delivery team. Proven experience working as a 2IC to a CE, along with reporting to a Board is highly desirable, and having a relevant tertiary qualification in heath, social services, business management or related area is essential.
