Education Program Clinical Advisor (Senior Medical Officer) North Island - Wellington – Wellington Central, North Island Location: Multiple locations across the Wellington Region Service: RMO Unit Contract: Permanent, part time - 4 hours p/w. About the role The Education Program Clinical Advisor provides senior clinicalleadership and educational expertise to support the development, delivery, andcontinuous improvement of prevocational medical education programmes. This will include co-ordination and delivery of training,monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, coordinating with the MedicalCouncil of New Zealand (MCNZ) and Health Workforce New Zealand (HWNZ)compliance and general liaison on all issues relating to Resident MedicalOfficer (RMO) education/training at CCHV. About our team The RMO Unit facilitates linkages between and provides support for all those involved in RMO management functions within CCHV and across the sub regional districts to ensure consistency of management practices, provision of employment agreement compliance, and administration of employment issues relating to RMOs. It also undertakes sourcing and selection of RMO's for the sub regional districts. About you Vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) Hold a current practising certificate Haveknowledge of the basic skills expected of Interns, and an understanding of theMCNZ Prevocational Curriculum and training expectations. Must beapproachable and interested in education, having an ability to work withsupervising specialists Provenability to be outcome focused and able to prioritise, set goals and achieveresults Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability to presentinformation and concepts to a range of audiences.
