Working within a collaborative team of experiencedInterventional Radiologists, you will provide a diverse range of proceduresacross both tertiary and regional services while contributing to the ongoingdevelopment of our innovative and progressive department. We have opportunities available across permanent, fixed termand locum appointments, offering flexibility to suit different career stagesand lifestyle goals. Christchurch Hospital is the largest tertiary hospital inNew Zealand's South Island and provides specialist services to a population ofmore than 700,000 people across Waitaha Canterbury and the wider South Island. Our Interventional Radiology service is recognised fordelivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a broad and varied casemix. We work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensivevascular, oncological and non-vascular interventional services. Our purpose-built facilities include: State-of-the-artInterventional CT and ultrasound suites Modernsingle and biplane digital subtraction angiography (DSA) laboratories Adedicated Hybrid Operating Theatre Accessto advanced imaging technology supporting complex interventions Our department has a strong culture of collaboration,innovation and continuous improvement, with general and subspecialty-trainedInterventional Radiologists working together to provide outstanding patientcare. As an Interventional Radiologist, you will bring: Fellowshiptraining in Interventional Radiology (or equivalent recognised specialistqualification) Eligibilityfor vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand Excellentclinical and procedural skills across a broad range of interventionalradiology practice Acollaborative approach and commitment to multidisciplinary patient care Apassion for quality improvement, teaching and service development International applicants are encouraged to apply.
