Dental Equipment Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dental Equipment Service Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, repair, and documentation of a wide range of dental equipment across our clinic premises. Key Responsibilities: Installation of new dental equipment including dental chairs and X-ray units Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of dental equipment Accurate documentation of servicing, repairs, and installations On-site support and response to urgent equipment issues as required Equipment You Will Work With: Dental chairs X-ray units (including 3D imaging systems) CAD-CAM milling machines Handpieces and related equipment Work Hours: 40 hours per week Flexibility is essential, including availability for weekends and urgent call-outs at short notice Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with dental equipment Experience with digital dental systems is highly desirable Education, Certifications & Technical Skills: Registered Electrician Certified in KaVo instruments and dental chairs (Primus 1058, E50, uniQa) Certified in Cattani equipment Certified in Mocom and Statim autoclaves Engineering degree (desirable) Strong knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems, electronics, and electrical motors Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and PDF documentation Personal Attributes: Resourceful with a strong focus on quality workmanship Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, trustworthy, and a strong team player High level of commitment to customer service Well-organised with strong time management skills Eligibility: Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid NZ work visa.
