Operating from our modern facility in Sockburn, we've built a reputation for excellence, and now, we're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to cover for our team member who will be on parental leave for twelve months. The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our finance team, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. In this role, you will manage both accounts receivable and payable, ensuring smooth financial operations that support our ongoing innovation and high-quality service. Key responsibilities include: Managing debtors and creditors Overseeing accounts receivable and payable functions Preparing invoices and processing purchase orders Entering financial data into Xero Assisting with general administration tasks What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar position, along with strong working knowledge of Xero and intermediate‑level Excel skills. Your attention to detail, ability to take ownership of your work, and positive, professional manner will make you an ideal fit for our team.
