This role is also open to experience estimators looking to make the jump to the Fire Protection industry as well as experienced Fire system technicians and installers looking to make the next step intheir fire protection career. An average day would include creating estimations for the installation of newFire Protection systems, liaisingwithclientsand advising ontheirFire Protection needs and relaying that information to the project manager to ensure jobs stay on track from the start. Key Responsibilities Estimating new Fire Protection systems for new andexistingbuilds Negotiating with suppliers to ensureprojectsstay on time and on budget Travelingto sites to meet with stakeholders and projectmanagers Review technical drawings and Fire reports About You The ideal candidate will bring strong estimation experiencebeitelectrical,plumbing, mechanicaland or a strong background in Fire Protection. This role will involve meetings withstakeholders,so being personable isa must. Our client is looking for someone just as comfortable on the job site as they are presenting a new tender to a client. Key attributes include: The ability to read and interprettechnical drawings andbuildingplans Experience in estimating works includinglaborand materials Keen knowledge ofNZS 4512 / NZS 4541 Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision Well presented with strong client relation skills Able to understand and action Fire reports Strong knowledge of building codes Excellent customer service skills Why Choose Our Client?
