Baker/Apprentice Baker

We are looking for a motivated and reliable person to join our Bakery team.This role entails working with our bakery team to ensure our customers have an excellent range of bakery products for our customers, produced to a high standard.This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely wants to build their skills and develop a long‑term career in the baking industry. This is a hands‑on role that involves early starts, teamwork, and a passion for baking. Days & Hours of work: This is fixed-term role – October 2026 until end of April 2027. 40 hours per week. Days & shift times will be discussed during the interview. There will be some early starts time and at least 1 weekend day. We’re looking for someone who: Qualification or experience in baking or food production Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistent, high‑quality products Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and early starts Good communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude Commitment to food safety, health and safety, and hygiene standards Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of your work About you: Passionate about baking with relevant experience or qualifications (preferred not essential) Positive and personable attitude Willingness to grow & lean in the role Hardworking, reliable & ability to use initiative Eager to contribute to team success Time management and communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Applications close Sunday 16 August 2026 , but don’t wait till then, we will start interviewing potential candidates when applications are received.
