Service Technician

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an additional experienced Service Technician to join our Auckland workshop in Wiri, servicing and repairing our premium range of truck-mounted cranes, tail lifts, hook loaders, and specialist hydraulic equipment. Whether you're coming from the heavy automotive, truck, crane, construction, agricultural, or mobile equipment sectors, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Diagnosing, servicing and repairing Palfinger cranes, tail lifts, hook loaders and associated equipment Fault-finding across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems Performing preventative maintenance and safety inspections Completing repairs to a high standard of quality and workmanship Supporting customers with technical solutions and excellent service Working collaboratively within a skilled and supportive workshop team Ensuring health & safety policies and procedures are followed, and you go home safely What We're Looking For A Trade Certificate or National Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 4) or equivalent qualification 3+ years' experience servicing and repairing heavy equipment, trucks, machinery, or mobile plant Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability Experience working with hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems Confidence using modern diagnostic equipment and tools A current full New Zealand driver's licence A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork Excellent written and spoken communication skills Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys solving technical challenges, and wants to be part of a team that supports one another.
