About the Role We are looking for an energetic and empathetic Registered Nurse to work within Thames Hospitals Emergency Department. The successful applicant will ideally have experience in Emergency care although we are willing to train the right person. The successful candidate must be available to work all rostered shifts. About the Service Thames Hospital is a secondary level hospital 100 kilometres north of Hamilton. It serves the Thames, Coromandel Peninsula, Hauraki and Paeroa areas. Thames Hospital has a 24 hour emergency department, and covers the usual range of general surgery and general medicine. Thames Hospital is part of the Waikato District. About you Skills and experience youll need to be considered for the role: Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand; inclusive of scope of practice A current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Expected to meet a competent level of practice on the Professional Development and Recognition Programme, but may achieve a higher level of practice Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
