Find out more at www.realsteel.co.nz About the Role In this field-based role, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering sales performance across your allocated territory of BOP/Waikato north. You'll be servicing a wide range of customers across multiple industries including Quarry and Mining, Civil Construction, Manufacturing and General Engineering. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive responsive service and fit-for-purpose steel solutions. What you'll be doing Managing and growing an allocated sales territory to achieve sales targets Retaining and developing existing customer relationships while pursuing new business Planning and maintaining regular customer visits and call activity Preparing quotations and presenting Real Steel's products and services Building strong internal relationships to support accurate quoting and job delivery Representing Real Steel professionally in the market and at industry events What you'll bring A minimum of 3 years proven B2B sales experience with a track record of identifying opportunities and achieving results Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical sales environments Strong communication and relationship-building skills A practical and technical mindset, with the ability to understand and capture customer requirements A solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness and hunger to contribute Good organisation and time-management skills across a geographically dispersed sales territory Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong internal working relationships A collaborative approach and high level of personal integrity Why join Real Steel?
