This role will focus onproviding first specialistpelvichealthassessments andphysiotherapytreatment options for selected patientswiththeaimofimprovingaccessandreducingwaittimestoassessment,effectivetreatmentpathwayidentification,andenhancingclinicaloutcomesandexperiencesforpatients. Embeddedwithin our collaborative Womens Healthinterdisciplinary teamwhich includes Womens Health Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialistsyou will work to ensure care is accessible,well-coordinatedand tailored to eachwomensneeds. Youwill contribute to developing Pelvic Health Physiotherapyand Womens Health services atWaitematā. Key Responsibilities Provide expertpelvichealthphysiotherapyassessment and interventionto women withpelvic health presentations Collaborate closely with urology, gynaecology, colorectal surgeons, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and AlliedHealthcolleagues. Lead and contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit, and research. Work autonomously as well as within a team of experienced physiotherapists. Mentor, supervise, and support physiotherapists and students. Modelpatient centredand culturally safe practice, upholdingTeTiriti o Waitangi principles. Regular monthly supervision and workperks. About You New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC). At least 6 years post-registration experience, including 2+ years infemalepelvichealth. Excellent clinical assessment skills, with the confidence to think on your feet and communicate clearly. Proven ability to lead and mentor within an interdisciplinary team, with experience in collaboration, service development, quality improvement, and leadership. Demonstrated commitment to equity, trauma-informed care, and empowering patients and their whānau in recovery.
