Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Component Engineer to fill a position at our Research and Development Centre located in Wigram, Christchurch. You will work on the identification and evaluation of appropriate components for use in our product designs. Key responsibilities Work on the identification and evaluation of appropriate components for use in our product designs Work with suppliers, purchasing staff, and product development engineers from a part's selection until its approval Create and maintain parametric data to support component selection for design engineering Investigate alternate component technologies and suppliers to reduce cost while improving component quality and reliability Support change management with PCN/ECR/MCO/ECO reviews and approvals in our PLM System (Arena) About you Detail Oriented / Accurate Integrity – Ability to say "No" when evaluating approvals Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work in cross-functional teams Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) 8+ years' experience outside of university in Electrical Engineering Current New Zealand Work Visa (or similar) or eligible to work in New Zealand Benefits Competitive salary, quarterly bonuses, and stock options Annual merit reviews Medical insurance for you and your immediate family Long service leave Career growth and development opportunities in a fast-paced environment About us Enphase Energy is a global energy technology company and a leading provider of solar, battery, and electric vehicle charging products.
