The School of Allied Health at AUT is a national leader in health education and clinical innovation, with programmes in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry, and rehabilitation. We have a fixed-term, part-time (15-22.5 hours per week) opportunity for a Clinical Trial Research Officer to make a significant impact and develop their career in research. We are open to expertise across areas relevant to the School of Allied Health, Department of Physiotherapy. We are especially interested in applicants who can contribute to a collaborative research team from the Auckland University of Technology, the Auckland Regional Pain Service, and Peke Waihanga. This team is conducting a clinical trial of 48 participants experiencing ongoing pain following major lower-limb amputation. The study aims to determine whether Botox injections can effectively reduce residual limb pain compared to a control condition. This investigator-initiated research is funded by the Auckland Medical Research Foundation. Please see the position description available for more information.
