Licensed Immigration Adviser (Full/Provisional) We are currently seeking a motivated and driven Licensed Immigration Adviser to be part of our dynamic team. You must have a can-do attitude and you are willing to go that extra mile to help clients achieve their dreams. This role offers the option of working in a positive environment and support our team. It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guarantee of 30 hours of work per week. To succeed in this role, you must have: Must hold a minimum bachelor's degree OR three years of relevant work experience Exceptional English language skills (both written and oral) Excellent relationship building skills Exceptional time management skills - keeping to deadlines is crucial An ability to speak more than one language will be an advantage Job Duties of Licensed Immigration Adviser Licensed immigration advisers (LIAs) act as guides for people navigating the often-complex world of immigration. Performing duties of a Licensed Immigration Adviser as per the IAA Code of Conduct, including but not limited to- Client Care and Guidance: Consultation and Needs Assessment: You will be required to meet clients to understand their immigration goals, background, and eligibility for different visa options. Providing Objective Advice: Based on your knowledge of immigration law and regulations, you should offer expert immigration advice on the best course of action for each client's situation. Building Trust and Confidentiality: You should maintain a professional relationship with clients, respecting their cultural background and keeping their information confidential (with some legal exceptions). Communication and Updates: You should clearly explain the immigration process to clients, keeping them informed of progress and any potential roadblocks. Application and Documentation Management : Visa Selection and Strategy: Being a LIA, you should help clients choose the most suitable visa category based on their needs and eligibility. Application Preparation: You should assist with filling out visa applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents. Gathering Supporting Evidence: You should guide clients in collecting necessary documents like financial statements, employment proofs, and character references. Liaising with Immigration Authorities: You may communicate with immigration authorities on behalf of clients to clarify questions or address issues.
